Phaansi Imli

This is trunk of an old tamarind (imli) tree by the side of road. I see it while going to office. This is named as Phaansi Imli. Its branches (which are no more) were used for phansi(hanging) of the people opposing the British rule.

Camera shy bull

This bull was looking straight in my eyes. But when I adjusted my mobile phone to take his photograph, he shifted his head.

Stray cows usually look at you in expectation of getting something to eat. Bulls do not expect anything. Typical show of male independence?

These are school children in my neighbourhood having mid day meal.
I wish I could join them someday.

Traffic jam by cattle on Phaphamau bridge

In the morning I found Kanwarias (the pilgrims walking barefoot carrying holy water for the lingam of lord Shiva) blocking half the road on the Phaphamau bridge.
In the afternoon it was the turn of the cattle. They also have right of way.
In India common man has lowest priority every where! Lower than cattle?!
