Pumpkin on the Ganges bank

Lot of pumpkin (kohandha or kooshmaad) is coming from Ganges sand. It is grown on the islands of Ganges and brought to shore by boats. Then people carry on their heads in baskets made of stems of arahar (pulses) called Khanchi. Do you relish eating pumpkin? I do not. I only like it in sambar when I eat idli. Come to Allahabad to see it on the banks of mother Ganges.
